WIN Mental Health Week
Team Wellbeing
World Mental Health Day is observed on the 10th of October every year, with the overall objective of raising awareness on mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health. Despite the fact that mental health is an inseparable aspect of overall health, it is blatantly ignored and sidelined. That is why mental health awareness is more important than ever. Winchester is passionately dedicated to spreading awareness about this pivotal issue. The entire week, from the 10th to the 14th of October, was dedicated as the Mental Health Awareness Week, with activities like Art Therapy sessions, mindfulness sessions with psychology students, and parental engagement sessions carried out to great enrichment of all students. And as the grand finale, Winchester went green in support of mental health! All staff members and students were encouraged to wear green to show solidarity with the initiative. The Wellbeing Team created more than a thousand green ribbons which were distributed in the school community.
